Acceleration

I have an 02 F150XL, 54,000 Miles, 4.6V8, 5speed. About 5,000 Miles ago, I got a BAD Tank of Gas. I quickly replaced the fuel filter, plugs, and treated the tank. However, I am still having acceleration problems. When I press on the gas I get a misfire(that is the best way to explain it), a quick hesitation. It is something that is not a constant. It could be when I am in 2nd or 5th when I am passing. Same problem. I have read that it could be the computer readjusting to the "gas on demand". I don't know where to go next. Any help would be great.

could be clogged injector.the fuel sending unit is clogged and reading fuel flow incorectly causing a rich condition which will cause a missfire because to much fuel and it gums up the plugs. pull a couple of the plugs and check em out. run some B12 in the tank like a couple cans and it should clean out and crap and disolve it. bad fuel can cause alotta problems these days

I run about 50 Miles a day on it. I average about 16-17.5 mpg. Faster, you said something about B12. What is it and where can I get some?

just under 4 bucks for a Can at walmart its blue red n white can mostly blue though. but just buy a can or two and run it through next time u put gas in. it will clean out anything. it burns white though so if u get a bit of white smoke or a different smell ur alright thats just ur engine burning the b12
