code p1000
P1000 shows that all of the various emissions monitors (EVAP, catalyst, EGR, HO2S, misfire, CCM) haven't been enabled and passed yet. This is part of an OBD drive cycle and only really matters if you've got emissions checks.
i beg to differ, yes the p1000 code is just telling u that the cycle isnt done and it hasnt read info from the rest of the sensors.. just wait a week and it will. but i dont think that this is just for emmission standards... it really helps your vehical. yes i would like to see cars with out emissions so i can hot rod all the time... and i have "accidently" hit my cat with a sawsall but the sensors can make or break u. if u ignore an o2 sensor u mileage will kill u and if its bad enough your truck will go in to "computer mode" where it just does air fuel mix based on a computer not the sensors which will lose you horse power also. i would wait a while then get the codes read and come back to let us know!
