I really hate my 4.6L. Its too weak. Is there something I can do to increase horsepower and tourque with a budget of $1200?

Magnaflow exhaust.......$400??
XCal II.......................$450
Efans.........................$350ish??
U pulleys....................$250ish

Basic stuff there. I guess thats over your budget, or at least pushing it, but you dont need to do it all.

Nitrous. Yeah, yeah. Nitrous. Nitrous doesn't discriminate.

Barring that, start with the basics. Cold air intake of some type or another, exhaust, chip/tuner.

Turbonator = Great paper weight. Bartak1 Basically gave you some of the best bang for your buck performance upgrades...

If you're real patient, you can get a powerdyne blower setup used off ebay for about $1200 (thats what I paid) and that'll net you the power you want, bar none. You sound like you want like I did. Don't get me wrong, all those mods are great, but they always leave some to be desired. The blower was the best bang for the buck addition of everything I did. Once you get it, you can piddle around with other things over time to increase power like a smaller pulley, bigger injectors and so forth. Also, after adding a blower certain mods are no longer needed like an intake, or pullies.
