I was thinking about cleaning the throttle body on my truck someday soon, and I saw the article on how to do this fordf150.net and planning on using it. I was wondering if there is one on cleaning the manifold, also??? If anybody could help me I would appreaciate it!

 

ford use to sell this expanding foam cleaned that u would spray in and it would clean the whole intake manifold. and then once it was done cleaning it would salitify again and then u crank on it till engine starts up. it did very good job. but they stopped making is cause of these higher tollerance engines... to easy to hydrolock them. most people lick seafoam. but i usually just take some B12 carb cleaner and give the engine a healthy spray while its idling... make sure u dont bog it down and kill it...
