new guy needs more power

hey everyone
i just found this site and i would like say its awsome.Now down to buisness.I have a 2003 f150 super crew 4x4 with the 5.4 ,next week i am going to do a 3inch body lift so i can fit my new wheels 325/60r18 pro comp extreme allterrains.I would like to find out what mods i can do to build up perfomance from the motor. I anyone could help me out that would be great.

intake... dont waste your money on an expensive one generic ones work just as good. and since there isnt much of a difference in performance why spend 200-300 bucks instread of 50 on something that u will only notice above 3500RPM. and then get some exhaust. if uwant peformance go with magnaflow. they sound crappy IMO but people around here seem to love em. if u want both goodsound and performance got with an IMCO Elite muffler.. id also go with 4.10 gears and some headers, long tubes if u can find em for a good price on ebay. and then get a nice tuner. Xcal2 or predator

Would you see much of a difference in hp with the long tubes as opposed to shortys?

I have shortys... I was afraid long tubes would drag when off-roading. I would re-gear first - To 4:56's. You will gain a lot of your power back that way.

Bypass all the little **** ant mods and add a blower. Its the best bang for the buck!
