Question 4.9 300 Exhaust Questions

New to the site, hello to everyone......

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my exhuast system on my 94 F150, i wana gain low to mid range torque, i was wondering what size piping and what type of muffler to run (i.e turbo, glasspack, chamber) also i will be running with out a "cat". Im running the stock manifold (also if anyone knows where to find a set of headers for a 4.9 EFI that fit 4 wheel drives, LET ME KNOW).

And also what would be best dauls or a single outlet

Would really like some help....

You've got the best pickup truck engine Ford ever made IMHO!

It doesn't care what...if any exhaust you have on it...it's just gutsy!

Sometimes I really miss that old '88 I had. That thing would pull a telephone pole through a gnat's a$$.

I used to run a Clifford Header on my 300. It was a split header, 3 pipes per collector. Run duels and it will sound better, run stronger than a 5.0. You have the best engine ever built by Ford, period. They quit building them because they never wear out, could'nt sell enough new trucks. Fords version of "planned obsolecense".
