Can someone tell me if the knock sensor's on the 5.4 3V are still under the intake and the color of the wires going to them? It's a long story involving a mouse and a place it wanted to live. I sure could use the help. Thanks.

 

The wires should be DG/VT and YE/RD. They are NOT reversible.

According to the service manual, the intake must be removed to R & R the sensor.

Yes they are under the intake.I believe Ford went to 2 knock sensors on the 3V.

Thanks for the reply's feller's. The qute little thing also got the injector and COP wires in the back of the engine bay as short as he could chew them off.

 

I just got done taking the intake off my 04 F150 and saw everything the little devil chewed up.There are 2 knock sensor's with 2 sets of wires.One set was DK Green / Violet and Yellow / red the other's are DK Green / White and Yellow. My ? is which one is bank 1 and bank 2? Again thanks for the help.

 

Thanks Norm but I got everything back together and it seems that all is good again .I hate to say this but I'm getting it ready to trade and want it right. I love my truck but I have a GT500 coming and somthing has to go .Thanks again for the help.
