quintin i need help!
On the new pump, under the high pressure fitting, did any valves or anything fall out? If the valve under the fitting is missing or installed backwards, you won't get any power assist.

Assuming this is on your F-150, it cannot be the belt, as it is serpentine. Eliminate one possibility. Have you checked fluid in case there's a leak somwhere? Are all electrical connections tight? The pump may have went out if all the easy checks work out....
i was talking to someone here and they asked me the same thing about anything falling out.......i dont recall. no leaks. i loosend the pressure line and nothing was coming out.

Oreillys wants like $56 w/ core exchange, whenever i think about anything at a dealership my butthole starts to hurt, i nver thought about a motorcraft reman tho. I'd imagine it would be better, since it is Ford and all
I've put TWO reman POS pumps on my truck and still...absoloutly no power assist. Would the remans not come with the valve i keep hearing about. I've scoured the carport looking for soemthing that resemble anything that might be it but cant findd anything....how small, what does it look like where does it go?
The valve is about the size of a lifter in a 302, and goes in behind the 18mm fitting on the power steering pump. At this rate though, I'd give up on those O'Reilly pumps, bite the bullet and buy a Ford pump. You've gone through enough headaches.
the size of a lifter?? damn i couldnt miss that. I talked to someone today that had once gone through 4 pumps before one actually worked. hell the Ford place said the new pumps dont even come with the valve. If its the size of a lifter theres no way it fell out w/o me knowin'. does it just fit loosley in there?
Well, I might have exaggerated the size of it, but it's pretty noticable nonetheless. It shouldn't fall out of the pump freely, but stranger things have happened. Every Ford pump I've installed has had it. You should be able to make it fall out by turning the pump with the high pressure fitting facing down and shaking it a bit. Got a case of CRS right now, but I also think there's a spring behind it.
