The truck is not running hot. 2 days ago I changed the sending unit to the guage, and for 50 miles it worked fine. Today I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes to reset the CEL, when I started to drive it afterward, the temp guage started to climb again. Is there a processor, or something that might be bad? I suspect that it has some thing to do with the computer/electrical but not sure where/what to look for.
I changed both the temp guage sending units, thermostat, upper and lower hoses, and had the radiator rodded out.
