Help identify this leak... *Pic*

Ok, so I was posting a pic of my exhaust in the exhaust forum and I noticed the flash on my camera raised my attention to a leak b/t the tranny and the driveshaft....what do you all think?

Judging from the amount of fluid loss, I agree w/ Faster. If it were wet to the point of dripping w/ fluid, I would condemn the tailshaft bushing as well.

any ideas on replacement cost? Tranny fluid is full and I'm monitoring it close.
I'm not familiar with this seal...is it something that needs taken care of right away?

Just went out and inspected it again. No dripping fluid--looks to be a really slow leak....does this need fixing promptly or could it leave me walking?

Seal is less than $20 from the dealer. I had a similiar leak on my stang that I let go for over a year. I would check it during oil changes to see it it got any worse, never did. It would really only leak when I was doing WOT shifts anyhow. Easy to replace, only takes around 5 min, well a bit longer since you have to remove the drive shaft, but you get the idea.

If it isn't dripping, its not a problem yet. WHen it gets hot after driving for a while, it'll expand a bit and loosen up its grip on the output shaft. Then you'll get a slight wet look that will capture dirt as yours has. If you don't have any drips under the truck, you have no worries!
