Question Volant CAI yes or no

I'm considering buying the Volant CAI for my 05 Super Crew with 5.4L. Anyone have this on there truck and did it increase power or off the line performance? Also does it cause warranty or check engine light issues. I currently have a Magna flow mufler single in single out. Thanks

I have had one on my 98 f150 and when i bought my 2000 i put it on there too. I think you may get a little more power and i saw about +1mpg difference. It just seems to breath better and better response. Just my .02

Got one along with a banks exhaust. Power added can barely be felt but it sure does give a nice sound. I did see a better mpg by around 1.

I went with a MAC.

Very good step by step install.
typical 1 or 2 MPG increase depending how you drive it.

GREAT GURGLE from underhood.

volant is the best....... its the only intake that obtains its air through the fender hole (ALOT BETTER AIR FLOW) while other just sucks air from under the hood that comes through the grille.
