I have a 1996 150 with inline 6 cyl 4.9 ....had to replace a cat converter to get inspected....it was the front cat that was going bad ....the shop i took truck to stated that I had two cats on this truck because ford engineers have not figured out a way to make these trucks pass emissions with out an extra cat on it ..he also said that some newer mustangs have up to 6 cats on them 3 on each side ...is he full of crap or is he just in a lot of pain because he does not own any Fords.....??
