Quick question

I added a can of seafoam to my gas tank yesterday. And I was wondering if it's necessary to change my fuel filter after I run this tank of gas out? Someone told me it may loosen up a bunch of dirty stuff in my gas tank and clog the filter up. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'd say if you havent done it (changing the filter that is) then I would just for general maintenance. I dont think the tanks gonna have any real grime in there considering gas tends to keep things somewhat broken down if you know what I mean.

Ok, thanks. I went ahead and bought a filter so I can change it after this tank runs out. It's about due anyway.

Just got the oil changed about 10 minutes ago. All is good. The old oil had a dark tint to it after the seafoa treatment, so I figured it was time to change it. I'll problably let the fuel filter go until spring.
