Head Bolts

I got a 97 F150 4.6W I can not find out what the torgue should be on the head bolts. The book I have just says tighten and then turn an extra quarter turn. Anyone know the exact torgue that it should be?

Start at 30 ft/lbs, then go 90 degrees, then an additional 90 degrees. Do this in steps of three, i.e., torque 'em all to 30 ft/lbs, pull 'em all another 90 degrees, then all of them again another 90 degrees.

Ain't technology, torque-to-yield sucks. If/when I ever go into any of my 5.4s, I'm going back together with ARPs.

Keep in mind that the stock bolts cannot be reused. Torque-to-yield bolts are good for one install, then they are done. I'm with Quintin on changing to ARP stuff if my heads ever need to come off.
