Im not the most mechanically inclined so please bear with me.

I have a 2000 F150 with the 4.6l with about 115000.

This past week I noticed some quarter-sized oil drops on my garage floor.

The drips are coming from the passenger-side - they are forward and to the passenger side of where the a/c water drips.

I crawled underneath and can see oil - but can't see where the leak starts. I do not see the oil leak when i open the hood and look down.

Any ideas?

It's going to the shop this afternoon so any help before then would be much appreciated.

Yep - both head gaskets are leaking - one pretty bad

appears the right head is bad as well


the new black 05 will be in the driveway tomorrow
