You have a fairly limited edition truck. For the first two years (1997 & 1998) it was called an F-250 Light Duty. It wasn't quite as heavy duty as a Heavy Duty (now Super Duty) F-250 Ford truck, but it was pretty good. It's now just called the F-150 7700 package. Basically, it's a heavy duty half ton truck. As I recall, the package included heavier duty springs, axles, 7 lug wheels, a beefier transmission (in the early years) and several other upgrades that went with that stuff. They're great trucks and you'll probably love it. Enjoy!

Yep, you have the heavy duty half ton. They use the 4R100 tranny and have a 10.25" semi-floating rear end. Very nice sturdy F-150.

Kinda kills your choices on rims though. Nothin else uses 7 lugs.
