Question Bosch Spark Plugs?...

About 10,000 Miles ago. I had my 60,0000 Mile Checkup Done. I had tripple Platinum Bosch Spark Plugs put in, and it seems like it's been running worse. Starting harder, and when it's first started, and beginning to accelerate, it has a rough sounding, almost diesel like sound to it. I have heard Bosch Spark Plugs are not the best plug in american vehicles, but this was after I got them. I've had very good expiriences with them in Volkswagens, Saabs, And Even my 94' Nissan Maxima DOHC. But I am thinking the problem with the truck now, could be those spark plugs I hadn'd taken into consideration before....

Any feedback is much appriciated. Thanks

Thanks Guys, I'll get some Motorcraft/autolite Plugs put in it. I've heard they were about the same, from other forums.

Bosch plugs are hit and miss in Fords, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I've had nothing but trouble with them in my experience on Ford vehicles though.

I've been using Bosch plugs in all my trucks for years with zero problems. The only plugs I've had fail were Motorcraft.

A lot of people complain about Bosch and Champion plugs. I've never had a problem with either brand, though Champion electrodes do tend to wear down quicker than anyone else.

I work at AutoZone and get people coming back all the time with ford trucks and especially chevy trucks saying they put bosch plugs in thier truck and it runs worse than before they put them in. Yeah there are the few that got a wire crossed but for the most part I recommend staying away form bosch plugs in american made vehicles. Motorcraft, autolight, or if you wanna spend the money denso irridium
