injector info
Are you talking about the EV6 injector vs the EV1? I just bought a set off ebay, supposed to be 30# but after a little research they are 99-01 cobra 24#. Problem is, the EV6 has a different connector style and in order to get them from good old ford, you have to order an FI harness for the 99-01 cobra just to cut the pigtails, so I'm told
35-40 MPH??!!
Damn that sucks!
If you have a O/D switch, disable it.
When you are looking into programmers, make sure they can change shift points.
It may cost more, but O/D at that speed is just stupid.
Good luck.
BTW what are your gear ratios?
Your manual should have a chart that allows you to decipher the axle code in the door jamb.
It is 2 digits. If both are numbers it is an open diff., a letter followed by a number indicates limited slip diff.

When I get the 42# injectors yes I will delete the FMU. I have the 90mm Lightning MAF already, stole it for $70 new in the box!! Have to get my chip re-burned to though, and I am going out of country for a couple weeks on sunday, so I have some time before I get to it. And, don't castrate me for this, I bought another project car, a 1968 Impala with a 327 and a powerglide 2 speed. Its my first ever chevy purchase
but I like the idea that not alot of people have that particular car. I have a 460 block in the garage I was prepping for a project, but it ain't gonna work for the impala. I also bought a 65 Mustang fastback thats going to get in the works when I get back, so i'll be a busy boy for a while
