EFAN and PULLY INSTALL HELP

Ok, my Troyer Efans and Pullies arrived and I will be putting them on within the next week. I just want to make sure I have everything I need before I start.

When you take the clutch fan off, which way do you turn the bolt? I did this before on my old truck, but I can't remember. It's the opposite of a normal nut, right?

Here is what I need to get.

1. Torque Wrench for pullies(What kind)
2. 3-prong thingy
2. Crowbar or Wonderbar for holding waterpump still while disengaging clutch fan
3. New pully(Can I use the same one or should I get a gatorback or something?) I have the 8-rib pullies

*Side note: I also want to replace the fuel filter and change O2 sensors. I know about the fuel filter tool, but are there any special tools I need for the O2 sensors?

Am I missing anything?

I suggest that the first thing you do is sit down and read through "ALL" the installation instructions on the E'Fans just like Professor Troyer instructs you to do before you even think about actually starting the project.
Mike has written some of the best installation instructions for this install that I have ever seen. My 12 year old daughter could do this install with the instructions provided. But you gotta read through them before starting....

roger that. I already did, and I will probably read them again. I did this install on a previous truck as well so it really shouldn't be a problem. Just looking for a 'refresher'

The pully install I have never done. So we'll see how that goes.

Is this the part I need for the harmonic balancer thing.... http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...tnumber=T73876

Also, what kind of torque wrech should I get?

The clutch fan is normal right hand thread. Most manuals say left hand thread but, you can not believe all that we can read.

I used a strap wrench to hold the pulley to remove the fan. I did not have the correct Ford type fan clutch wrench.

For the O2 Sensors there is a special socket that you can get that makes the job easier.

I can't recall if I got mine at Sears or an Auto supply store.
