You dont need that. Its for Supercharged motors, to keep them from sucking oil in the intake at high boost. They do work well 02SuperCrew4X, and are a must for anyone with a SC Harley or Lighning. I use to have to empty mine once a week.

It actually isn't a bad idea, it goes between your intake manifold and the PCV valve. When oil gets hot it releases gasses as it expands. Those gasses are routed throught the PCV valve and into the intake manifold where they are burned in the cylinders. The problem is when the gasses go through the PCV valve they take all kinds of nasty gunky black crap with them. If you have ever pulled an intake apart and looked at the inside it's covered with nasty crap. This comes from the pcv valve. The oil filtration system keeps a good amount of that stuff out.

But don't buy that it's just an inline water seperator for an air-compressor, you can get it cheaper at home depot or whatever. A cheaper way is to put one of those cheap kragen fuel filters in the line. I installed one of those cheap fuel filters in my protege after I ported and polsihed the intake manifold and it has done a good job of keeping the crap out.
