I have been reading alot about the silencer removal on the 4.6l and everybody seems to be all for it. Can this cause any problems with the engine? I would love to try it but, dont want to chance any problems down the road. Thanks

 

Silencer? Are you refering the plastic intake tube thats around the air filter?
If so, yeah you can do that.

Well I couldnt wait for the weekend to do this. I had mine out in 15 min with long needle nose plyers, flathead screwdriver and tin snips. I was happy with the results. It seems to make it a little faster and louder. Nice improvement for the price. Thanks for the info guys.
