Time for checking off monitors

How much time does it take for the car's monitors to run through its checks? I have a smog check coming up in California and they check the monitors (I think there's like 11 of them, but 3 of the monitors take a long time). I had to erase the CEL code yesterday and to do this I had to erase the monitor checks. I heard that Ford and Nissan autos can take a really long time to go through their checks (like weeks). Anyway, I fail the test if more than 2 monitors aren't running. Anybody have any idea how long I need to wait? Thanks.

I would try to put 50-100 miles on it. Some of those take a good long while.

Go to your dealer and ask him to print out the Drive cycle procedure.
