K&N or Airforce One?

I have an 03 F150 and i want to put an intake on my truck. Im trying to decide on if i should get a K&N Super 77 Series Intake or an Airforce One Intake for my truck. Does anyone know which is better, louder, anything. Thanks.

I don't know much about the K&N but I had the Air Force 1 on my '98. I think that it's a high quality product. It looks great. I think with either you will hear the "whistle" because the FIPKs don't have the sound baffle.

Which intake?

I have seen alot of post and discussion here in that area.. I have a K&N filter only on my 02 F4 Lariatt 5.4. for the decrease in filter change.
I pull a 27ft flagstaff travel trailer, I believe at higher RPM's I get better air flow, hence giving me a little better fuel burning for mileage.

Everyone I have read post from say either one is a good choice, neither really increase the H.P like you may think. The problem is that in certain hard pulling RPM ranges you will likely see a hint in the power, but normal day to day driving , not likely. just a decrease in changing the air filter every other time.

K&N and Air Force both have got high rating on here.

Thats my 2 cents.

I have the AF1 & you can definitely feel it. The polished tube looks good also. Troyer performance said it was the one to get so I got it. If the k&n system was better, I believe their dyno numbers would prove it & Troyer would sell it.
Good luck

Well i guess i've made my decision to go with the AF1, but does anyone know where to get them for a cheaper price? Everywhere i go people are asking $239.99. Has anyone gotten theirs for cheaper, and if so, where? Thanks.

I got the AF1 on my 01 Screw for about a year now. Really like it. Looks good too. I went with the solid black color.

Hey, that one looks different from the one that I had on the '98. I like that one and it'll fit on my new truck. That one is less than $239, right?
