Lightning MAS in a Expy

This may be a stupid question but I am going to ask it anyway. A lightning MAS is 90mm and has more air flow than my stock Expy. This upgrade would increase the over all airflow of my AF1. Will I have to get my program retuned? If so why, don't they just measure air conditions and feed it to the computer for it to change appropriatly?

Thanks
Robert

u would see no gain.. the lighning MAF is calibrated for 42lb injectors... your stock MAF will still flow more air then your engine can natural aspirate

this is wrong, if properly tuned a 90mil lightning maf will give you a gain depending on mods to the engine, but for it to work properly your pcm MUST be tuned for the maf sensor, talk to Mike Troyer he did my custom tuning for my 90 mil maf and will give you a great price on one also, the gain will not be very signifacant for the $ spent but there is HP to be had there, good luck
