I am looking at putting in a new ignition system for my 2001 super crew. Does anyone have a suggestion for which way to go?

You can't do anything more than put MSD coils on.
The coils are driven by the computer.
These won't do anything for power unless the engine is highly modified and needs them.

Actually, you can run an MSD Stacker 8, a Plasma Booster, or convert it entirely to a distributor ignition for grins - gonna cost ya for that last one, though. But, it finally gets rid of the crappy stock COP system, once and for all - no more COP replacement

The stock system even on a unmodified truck, could use dome help - - they are somewhat marginally designed and will degrade over time, plus operation in high humidity can be a problem...

Mike Troyer sells all this stuff (not all of it is shown on his web site) - consult with him - just not this weekend, since he's running a dyno day or two & is kinda busy . He runs the Stacker 8 on his trucks.
