hello all, just purchased 01 f150 4x4 lariat w the 5.4 and couldnt be happier. i am a mustang owner also so of course i am allready looking to add some mods. keep in mind=daily driver, family vehicle, little towing if any, 0 track time (mustangs domain ), n/a. looking for best bolt ons for the buck, what brands. gears?, and how these trucks react w lower gears, or maybe a shift kit, j-mod or anything that will help it out. truck has dual exhaust behind rear tires=is this standard on lariat? is this the most popular forum site for these trucks, if not please inform? thanks in advance for any suggestions .

 

To start with, this is the best site around. Look around lots at all the different forums and ask questions. Most popular mods for some improvement in performance are usually computer chips or programming, intake mods, exhaust mods. Lots of opinions and ideas. Shop around until you find some that you agree with and then go and find the money to afford what you want to do.
