Besides the number of blowouts is small compared to the number of vehicles built with these engines.
Plugs !!!!
WHEN CHANGING YOUR PLUGS, MAKE SURE THE HOLE IS CLEAN (NO DIRT OR DEBRIS) BLOWING OUT THE HOLE WITH COMPRESSED AIR WORKS WELL. AND DO NOT!!!! OVERTIGHTEN THE PLUGS..... DOING THIS WILL LEAD TO A TROUBLE FREE LIFE

Timesert 5.4 Triton head repair kit
I have one for sale. It will fix your problem. Inserts a steel insert (not helicoil, they don't work) into your head. The threads are stronger and there are more of them. Will still allow you to use the correct plugs. See my ebay auction # 7992320365. This kit will allow you to do a whole head if you want to, includes 4 inserts. Additional inserts can be ordered from Timesert. This is a slick fix, it can even be done with the head still on the motor!
