I'm building this long block and I can't seem to find anyone selling timing chains for the 4.6. I was hoping to get an entire kit with chains, guides and tensioners without having to pay dealer (stealer) prices.
Anyone have any sources?

There are lots of ford dealers charging wholesale online.
With the tensioner and guides probably your only bet is Ford.
Chain kits are available from most cam manufacturers, but the guides and tensioners are gonna be from Ford.

My set came with gears, chains, tentioners everything.. My engine kit, oil pump, water pump, timing set came to $954.00. Chris ( my mechininc) is charging me $800 to do the job. I had some bent valves so head work cost me $300. My total rebuild is running me around $2100 if no more suprises but I also added a new clutch kit which i bought from e-bay $320.00. Hope this helps.
