Hi all, I have a 2001 Ford Lightning. I noticed that there is a ton of Spark plug blowout info on this site. I welcome everyone to look at my story, still in progress in the LIGHTNING section of this forum. It has bitten me, and I might be getting some asistance from Ford on this. ..at least that's what the dealer says. I have two seperate postings, one dated back a bit, and one new as of today. Just search the Lightning forum for "Spark PLug Holes". Enjoy, and here's my opinion,........ I really believe that Ford needs to recall the pre-2003 heads, ALL of them, and refund the customer's money if they had them replaced or fixed. According to FORD, cylinder head replacement is the only PROPER fix, so guess what Ford, you should FIX IT!!! I have the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved AND Ford's Cutomer Asistance on this and come on guys, if we all put our heads together Ford is BOUND to do something to make this right.
