does anyone know if I can put a 2002 5.4L DOHC into my 2000 navigator? I know they chnaged the engines in 2003, but wanted to make sure 2002 was ok. I know there is a software out there to check, so if anyone can confirm, would be great

that would be pretty easy. Call the dealership and ask if its the same motor to the sevice dept. Its either yes, or no.


I doubt they would make it so that none of the motors would fit into eachother within a 2yr gap esp when the model itself hasn;t changed.

 

yes it will work u will want the computer to go with it but it would be a simple replacement but the intake manifolds on the 32V 5.4's are bizchs to mess with...
