FIPK causing stall?

I own a 97 4.6 F150 and I recently installed a FIPK system in it, its only been one day but so far the truck has stalled twice as I'm downshifting, both times when i shifted into third gear. This has never happened before I installed the FIPK and I was wondering if anyone knew what my problem could be? Any help and suggestions I would appreciate, and I'm pretty sure I know how to drive so it's not the drivers error. Thanks.

Are all the clamps on the FIPK tight and leak free Check all the connectors that you unplugged to make sure that are plugged back in. To install the FIPK you have to touch four systems. Obviously the MAF. Did you plug it back in? Are the wires routed properly so as to not rub and short out on something. Is is attached properly to the FIPK tubing. The next thing is the IAT (intake air temp) sensor. Is it plugged back in. The two other things are the IAC piping. Is there a vacuum leak where it connects to the FIPK tube? The last thing is the PVC piping that goes to the driver side cam cover. Again is there a leak somewhere. Is it seated properly in the cam cover and the FIPK tubing? Once you have looked for these items and if you don't find anything wrong I would clean the MAF sensor and also the IAC valve.

I checked all the connections and got no leaks, i ran a computer check and everything was ok, no codes reported, the MAF was ok the IAC was ok the TPS was ok, its idling at 700rpm, all i did was make sure every clamp was tight and i cleaned the electrical connection to the MAF and the IAT sensor with some electrical contact cleaner and its been a couple days now and it hasnt stalled since and im keeping my fingers crossed but we'll see, thanks for the advice though, its running great too, i can feel the horsepower increase and my Super Truck Gibson Exhaust has never sounded better
