Rough idle when starting and start accelerating

When I start my truck up, I get a rough start and it feels like the truck is starving for gas.

Also, for the first few accelerations in drive, as well as the first idling in drive, the truck almost sounds like it is starving and shakes a small amount, when accelerating, it hesitates. Once the truck is on for about 3-5 minutes driving, the problem goes away.

The spark plugs could probably use changing and it's been nasty warm and wet/cold weather lately for the past few weeks. Other than the plugs, is there anything I can try?

Perhaps resetting the computer? Should I reset it while the engine is running or off? I know there could be other problems but sometimes this has worked before last summer during a rough idle. The weather just messes everything up on this truck.

The Truck is a 1997 F150 XL 4.6 L 4x4.
