Engine Stumbles When Rolling To A Stop.

This problem started when I finally replaced my broken EGR tube going to the exhaust manifold. ('97 LD F-250 4x4 5.4) It took care of my "check engine" codes (left bank/right bank lean). But now, no light, but a skip or miss at an idle about every 5-10 seconds. I especially notice it as I'm coasting up to a stop sign or redlight. I'm thinking the EGR valve may be bad or leaking by. I'm going to disconnect the battery to reset the computer, but it has been like this for a long time (~ 1000 miles). I just recently replaced my 5k old platinum plugs with new copper cores in preparation of my procharger (due any day now). It was doing it before the plug change. I'd really like to have it running 100% before I add boost to the situation. Any suggestions? Dave C.

Anyone? My Procharger was sitting on the doorstep when I arrived home from work yesterday. I'd really like to resolve the stumble before the installation. Dave C.
