4.6 intake

I'm looking to get a good intake system for my 4.6. I was thinking either K&N or Air Raid, or Air Force One. My question is will this affect my exhaust system. The reason I ask is because when i put a K&N air filter in my truck my O2 sensors went bad 3 months later. Im not sure if the filter caused this but I wanted to make sure. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

The only reason an air filter would cause parts to fail would be if the filter was over-oiled.

Otherwise, it was just coincidence that your O2 sensors went out shortly after upgrading.
