Rattling when startup

Hey I have an 01 5.4l SuperCrew and when I come back to my truck after about 5 hours of not using it and start it up, i hear a rattle. It gets worse when i turn the steering wheel or put it in reverse. Then it goes away after about 10 minutes of driving. It also happens when i'm driving and i stop and accelerate. When i accelerate it only happens for about a second then goes away. Any help would be appreciated.

well the rattling sounds like its coming from the rear axle and the truck has about 75000 on it. It happens all the time when i start then go again but only for a split second.

rattling by rear axle with that many miles , replace your ujoints if you haven't on your driveshaft which is by your rear axle

it could be something as simple as a loose exhaust clamp. happened on my stock exhaust at about that mileage until i replaced it with a cat-back Magnaflow system...

Well i checked it out some more and it sounds like its coming from the middle left side of the truck. So i recant my initial predicition of it having to do with the drive train now its really confusing me. It also is ALOT worse when the engine is cold and i'm in reverse at the same time.
