Tensioner replacement

Hey guys, after putting a screwdriver to my ear and placing it on my tensioner I think I found my engine tick. Now, I'm going to buy a new tensioner, how easy are they too replace? Do I need gaskets or anything like that? Do I use my old pully or do they come with one? Thanks in advance.

I believe the tensioner come complete. No gasket. Just release the belt, remove old tensioner, install new tensioner and replace belt.

It is very easy to change. Take off the belt. If I recall, the tensioner is held on by three 12mm headed bolts. It comes with the pulley. If the tensioner is bad, the idler (one bolt in the center of the pulley) can't be far behind change them both and put on a new belt. It took about 20 minutes to do this to my 97 4.6.

Good Luck
