I have 1600 miles on my new f-150, and yesterday, started running rough and would not shift into OD. Took it in, the computer analysis said bad throttle body. The dealer replaced it, it is now runnning great again. Really disturbing to have that go out on a new truck but the good news is the dealer really took good care of me.

 

Yeah, that'll happen on rare occasion. Even if you have 99.9% quality control (which is better than excellent), that still means that one in a thousand products will be bad. You just happened to be the unlucky guy that got that thousandth throttle body. At least it was caught during warranty. Just make sure the dealer treats you as well when your brakes go bad.
