Question Coolant loss

I have a 94 F150 Supercab 2wd with 90k on a completely stock 5.0. I have noticed that after i fill the overflow resevior to the "cool" point, the next day, after driving it, half of the coolant is gone. There are no visible leaks. Chilton manual says that it is either going into my engine or transmission. If it is going into my engine, that usually means blown head gasket and/or cracked block. Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.

my 95 f-150 5.0l was losing coolant as you say
check really close around the bottom of the water pump
gasket behind the pump was leaking
put a jobber pump on gasket let go again after 25ks
put a ford pump on seems to have cured it

Have you checked the overflow tank? It might have a leak that opens under pressure only. Do you smell antifreeze in the cab? A sure sign of a leaking heater core. Are all the hoses and clamps ok? Rad drain ****?

Took it to a mechanic, found small hole in bottom right left side of radiator. So i just gotta replace that. Wierd thing is now I'm gettin that coolant smell in the cab. Which sucks cause now i have to prolly replace the heater core and radiator. Glad I replaced all the hoses 15k ago.
