HI!... Bead blasting wouldn't remove much material at all really. I looked into getting the intake extrude honed but they wanted like $500(CAN) to do it. Not worth the 10H.P you MIGHT pick up. I noticed a HUGE difference after I did mine. The big trick was to unshroud the fuel injector tip.

No one is mass producing truck manifolds. There aren't that many companies that are even making intake manifolds for Mustangs.

You might be able to find someone that would custom fab an intake, but that would be an expensive undertaking.

Some time soon, I am going to do some work on a spare PI intake that I have. I thinking along the lines of cutting it up so I can do some porting work and then welding it back together.

HI!... I'm in the process right now of hand building a custom sheet aluminum intake manifold from scratch. Runner length has been drastically shortened to give more mid range and insane top end. With my T76-GTS turbo project, low-end WON'T be a problem. The plenum will be on top, instead of below.

alot of the power improvement from the pi heads is in the intake itself.

realize this isnt cheap, but worth considering.
