If the light does not come on, how do you know it is good?

Pinpoint Tests — Air Bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

PINPOINT TEST A: : THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR IS ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY - RCM DISCONNECTED, INOPERATIVE OR LOST/LOW IGNITION FEED

Note:
Normal Operation. During normal operation the air bag indicator will be illuminated continuously for 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the RUN position and after five cycles of a Lamp Fault Code (LFC) if a fault exists. Be sure to cycle the ignition switch and look for a 6 second indicator prove-out without LFCs.

Note:
Possible Causes. An air bag indicator that is illuminated continuously can be caused by one of the following:- Fuses.- worn or damaged indicator shorting bar or camming beam.- damaged ignition circuit.- the RCM disconnected from the vehicle harness.- a loss of RCM ground circuits.- the RCM is inoperative.- circuit.
² A1: RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTC'S FROM BOTH THE CONTINUOUS AND ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST
² A2: CHECK THE RCM CONNECTION

//////

Check CJB F22.

The RCM is located behind the right side of the instrument panel.

Before screwing with ANYTHING related to the airbags, make certain you are following all safety precautions. If you don't know what they are, refer the servicing to a pro.
