Few questions...

After doing a search i didnt find exactly waht i was looking for. I have the late model 99 with the 4.6 triton. After looking at the VIN i have noticed that i have the romeo engine. My dads 00 5.4 is the windsor. Is there a big difference in the two? Do i have anything to be worried about down the road? Just curious if one had more problems than the other.

Secondly, I am giong on a snowmobile trip to laramie, wyoming. I live in Iowa so its about a 700 mile trip one way. I will be pulling 2 sleds with gear so about 2500 lbs. When on interstate runnying 65-75, do i need to have it out of overdrive yet? If so it runs around 3 grand and i know this cant be good on the engine over a long period of time. I also know u should always pull out of over drive. So im confused with going this fast what to put it in. Any ideas?

i think the head are basically the same axcept they use different bolt pattern on the valve covers.

When towing use the overdrive unless it start to 'hunt" or you get to a lot of hills.
