sorry for double posting, but it looked like he outpowered me in 2nd and 3rd geer on a 1/4 of mile. Does this mean that silverado is better then a F150 ? What advantages does F150 have over Silverado/Ram " not just in racing, but anything "

Your HP to weight ratio was too low. A 4.6 SC is not a drag truck. A 5.4 regular cab would have stood up to the challenge - all things being stock...
Check out Neal the HP Freak's truck. Normally asperated it was awsome. Now with NO2 it is dangerous.

ahh
he beat me by 12 inches. it was a stock vs. stock race 5.4 Liter vs 5.3L. hey neal i guess my truck might be little big for racing since it is a supercab with badliner and a toper! thats ok i need to find something to impress my friends with my f150!

Dad has a 7,458 miles ( 2004 F150 FX4 off road 5.4Liter )
I have 12,500 miles ( 2001 F150 FX4 off road 5.4 Liter)
and i also have a Ford Ranger 238,000 (1988 Ranger 4x2 2.0L)

unless you are running the NHRA circuit and they photograph the finish i would call being within 12" of each other anyones race. go put 40# of air in all your tires and run again, you might get him by 6"

let me or neal after em show em what fords made of i know neals alot faster but itd be a waist of gas for him and i think i'd prefer to hand em his azz with a smaller motor to. but hey loosing only makes u wanna make ur truck faster 
ford benifets. largest interiror space of the trucks. quality interiors. the seat bolts dont break off at 30mph and lodge passengers in the vehicles or kill them GM is undergoing a massive recall right now. umm ford has the strongest frames of all the trucks which is why they use them for tow trucks and abulances and over all most work utility vehicles are fords. ford builds torqe lower then any other manufacturer. and its not a member of the Great Mistake motor company
