the tornado

i have noticed the tornado that is made for vehicles now will not fit on the lightning. Since the lightning's air inlet pipe seems oval to me this is why i belive that is true...If someone decided to put an aftermarket intake system on a lightning that would replace the inlet pipe and all....would a tornado fit or is the inlet pipe still the wrong shape?
thanx

Even if it fit, its not worth it.

And most of the aftermarket intakes for the L are still oval in shape.

Why would you buy one of those. If it works so well the OEM would have them in all their intakes.

In a lot of cases the tornado actually introduces a restriction to the intake.

The product stinks, but their advertising is top-notch.

the only way for those products to actually show any sign of benifet is if u have one in each runner of the intake manifold. so it will swirl the air and help mix the air and the fuel. for better combustion. other then that they dont work. cause they are pre-throttle body. the flapper on theTB straightens the air so anything to produce a swil effect pre the TB is pointless

Exactly
