For the most part that is what you get. Some will include heat sheilds that keep the filter from sucking in hot air from the engine area, but of course you pay more for those.

Thats about it. I just bought a K&N cold air intake for my 97 f150 and all i got was the tube, filter, heat shield, and some hardware.

but its deffently worth the money. Plus it make your truck sound bad a$$ when you get on it.

I bought the MAC intake & it was about $50 cheaper than the Air Force One my buddy has. He`s got no heat shield & mine does!!
One thing I noticed is that the AF 1 tube diminishes in diameter after the MAF whereas mine increases then decreases right before the throttle body. Don`t know if this means squat ,but I`m thinkin` that less restriction is the reason for having one in the first place,no?

Check out the ICEMAN it uses your stock filter housing for cold air intake and if you already have a K/N filter you have two because when you wash 1 it takes it a whole day to dry naturally so it can be reoiled and installed.
