97 oil type
Howdy,
Im gonna change dads oil after christmas when i do my trucks and Im wonderin what would be good for the 4.6 with 90000miles. Not sure whats in there now as i didnt do it.

The book for my 97 4.6L says 5W30. I've had good luck with Havoline and Castrol, but any certified oil should be fine. The 4.6L is a good engine and doesn't need expensive oils or additives in my opinion.
