Can one output on a coil pack go bad?

Can one output on a coil pack go bad?
Is it possible for one output on a coilpack to go bad? Or does the whole coil pack go bad at once usually?

yes. one post on a coil pack can go bad. the coil fires all four at the same time but you can have an open in the windings for the one post and cause it to fail.
