I decided to give Ford a try after driving Chevy musclecars for the last upteen years. I must admit I was drawn in by the creature comforts. I never imagined I would end up having all of these problems. Now, I understand that many of these problems I have experienced have their own dedicated threads. I am starting this thread for the simple purpose of passing on a message. I spoke with a representive at the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration about my blown spark plug problem. He told me it was quite common. However, people need to not only report it, but also request to file a formal complaint. They will send you a form to fill out and even include a return postage paid envelope. If enough complaints are turned in, then they can force Ford to issue a recall. Please report any and all problems to them at 1-888-327-4236. Carquest by the way, now sells "reconditioned" heads for the 5.4 Triton for $300.00!
