Need help quick - Fuel Rail

I pulled the fuel rails to change the back two coils and plugs on my 2001 Expedition 4.6l. The fuel rail poped back in place like I figured they would. When I went to start the it up it shot gas all over the place. I have taken them off and re-seated them but I can't get them to stop leaking, are there any tricks to this?

There are O-rings that go on the bottom of the injectors to seat them. If you lost some or damaged some that could be your problem.

Where did it shoot fuel from? Your pressure realese valve could be open which will cause it also. The pressure realese valve looks like a small black **** on one or both of the rails. Also make sure the rails are seated down on all of the injectors, sometimes they "pop" back in place on all but one or two of the injectors.
