Throttle response is about the only noticable improvement. That and better A/C performance. I do a lot of driving ( my '03 has 55,000 Mi ) and the milage is what I was really hoping to get. Just didn't happen. Still think it is a good mod. Just didn't get the extra couple miles per gallon I had hoped to get.

Has anyone noticed an increase in transmission temperature due to installing electric fans? I recently installed them and now after city driving my transmission temp will try to match my coolant temp. Before the fans it would stay around 165-180. After it oftem reaches 200 and sometimes goes to 220. My coolant temp stays around 195 with the electric fans.

Before the e-fans the tranny coolers both in the rad tanks and the aux cooler in front of the rad would be washed in the incoming air casued by the constantly turning OEM fan. Remove that and the only time air will flow is when the e-fans are turned on or the vehicle is moving. It makes sense that the tranny oil will follow the coolant temp because that is what triggers the e-fans.
