Big tps problem

I've read all the instructions on here about how to set the tps. Last night I was getting a 1.06 reading so being the genious I am... I decided to do this. There was no adjusting it with just the bolts loosened so I was going to drill out the holes. Well, when I took it off the sensor itself went for a spin. The inside of it spins and winds up on a spring. The more clockwise I go the harder and tighter it gets. However, I can't get it to wind back up and put it on. I just stuck it on earlier, because I didn't realize how it worked and I got a .008 reading, far from the .99 reading that it is suppose to have. Any idea how to wind it back up and stick it on there would be greatly appreciated.

When I put it on awhile ago and took it for a trip around the block, it just stumbles and stutters...and it acts like it doesn't know what gear to go into.

Please help somebody...anybody...
